Rebel Bingo

17 Oct 2011 bingo

Over the past decade or so bingo has undergone a major makeover; no longer just for the blue rinse brigade in sleepy seaside towns, it’s now a worldwide phenomenon, so it was only a matter of time before it became cool and went underground. If you want to read the latest games here, have a quick look!

Underground bingo? Surely not. Well, yes, actually and this isn’t just any kind of underground bingo – this is rebel bingo. If you’re a little bit unsure as to what on earth I’m talking about then the basic gist is this: people, who want to play bingo, dance, listen to loud music and draw on each other with felt tip pens go to underground bingo. It’s obviously a younger generation thing, but it definitely goes to show just how far bingo has come.

The underground rebel bingo club is a secret organisation (no, it really is) and they move from location to location, with clubs in London, Brighton, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, New York and even Las Vegas. The locations are always secret but members can access secret codes and clues via Facebook or other social networking sites.

You turn up, play some bingo, dance around, listen to music that’s far too loud, draw crazy designs on other people and generally have a merry old time. Who knew that bingo could be oh-so-fun?!

So, it’s a bit like Fight Club in that it has rules, so read them and decide if you think it’s for you: No old people, no boring people, no office parties, no hen parties, no stag parties, no work suits and no customer service.

A little bit extreme maybe but if you fancy a bingo night out with a difference then you can check their page out on Facebook, or if you’d rather just play a good old game of bingo then you can find plenty of normal bingo sites, where a cup of tea and a slice of cake on the side is all the rage!
